I know a career Cub Fan Average of .522 isn't going to impress any scouts, but my parents don't give a shit about baseball so as a child I was stuck playing pee-wee soccer and watching Ace Ventura: Pet Detective like 95% of my fellow 90's youths. Eventually I made some friends who didn't suck and through them was introduced to the Chicago Cubs. It was love at first sight and I never looked back (though I will always have a soft spot for Ace).

Now, at a late 22, I've decided to catch up with the rest of the world and blog about shit. What's that? You don't care? I know. I barely care myself, and it's my blog. But in the interest of staying busy (and therefore sane) I will follow the Cubs as closely as possible over the course of the 2012 season and document my insight here. Enjoy reading this at the end of the summer, John. Because God knows you're the only one who will. And while we're talking, congrats on the awesome moustache you grew (I hope).
